The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) branch at her congress held today 25th of November, 2024; has praised the efforts and leadership of the institution's former University Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council, recognizing his contributions to the growth and stability of the university during his tenure.
In a recent development, SSANU FUOYE has raised serious allegations against the Vice Chancellor of FUOYE, accusing him of sexual harassment, intimidation of staff, and administrative recklessness. The association has expressed grave concerns over these allegations, which they believe are detrimental to the reputation and proper functioning of the institution.
In their statement, SSANU FUOYE called for an independent and thorough probe into the accusations leveled against the Vice Chancellor.
