FUOYE PROGRESSIVE GROUP (FPG) BEMOANS THE ACTION OF SOME STAFF UNIONS 27.11.2024|Akin Akinsoluga The decision of the staff unions at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) including the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), some rebel members of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), and the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) to defend the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, against allegations of sexual harassment, intimidation, and mismanagement has sparked widespread disappointment and concern. The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) branch at her congress held today 25th of November, 2024; has praised the efforts and leadership of the institution's former University Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council,  recognizing his contributions to the growth and stability of the university during his tenure.
