FUOYE MAKES CRUCIAL APPOINTMENTS 15th October, 2020. This is to announce the appointments of two new Principal Officers and a Director at the ederal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE). The Governing Council of the university Rose from a 4-day meeting on Thursday October 15, 2020 announcing the appointment of Mr Olatunbosun Odusanya as the second substantive Registrar of the morning institution. Mr Odusanya was until his appointment, the Director Administration and Special Duties at the Vice Chancellor's Office . He replaced Mr Adeyemo who had been relieved of his assignment some years ago. The Council session presided over by the Chairman, Dr Lawan Yahuza has all members in attendance. The meeting also announced the appointment of Dr I. O. Busayo as the new Librarian of the university. Late Friday Orobator Lecturer commits suicide in Benin Mr Orobator's lifeless body was discovered behind his apartment at about 1.30pm, with the rope which he used to hang himself, tied around his neck. By Mudiaga Affe October 3, 202 0 Friday Orobator, a principal lecturer of the defunct College of Education, now Tayo Akpata University in Ekiadolor, Edo State, on Friday committed suicide by hanging himself at his Obakhazbaye residence in Benin City , the state capital. Mr Orobator’s lifeless body was discovered behind his apartment at about 1.30 p.m., with the rope which he used to hang himself, tied around his neck. The tragic incident attracted a large crowd of neighbours, sympathisers and passers-by, who expressed shock over his death. The late Mr Orobator, said to be in his 50’s, was a member of the College of Education Academic Staff Union, (COEASU), and a principal lecturer at the Department of Adult Education.
